Fabricated for the 2018 Vellum Competition in San luis Obispo, CA, this design takes the proportions associated with "cuteness" and applies them to furniture, thus encouraging the idea of using cuteness to capitalize on the level of interactivity a person can have with the built environment.

 

This design takes into consideration how the furniture is held, how one sits in it, as well as how it feels when being used. The key is to entice the eye of the user and alter their perception of a traditional piece of furniture, bringing them an innate sensation of care.
